In a statement shared on Tuesday, Joe disclosed that the forensic examination was carried out by the investigating team and qualified pathologists at the burial site, with representatives of all parties, including the lawyer representing Odogwu Asaba, in attendance.
According to him, he and a fellow activist had earlier visited the burial site in Agbaro, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, where they met with Favour's father and other family members to monitor preparations for the exhumation.
Joe also revealed that an emotional moment unfolded during the exercise when Favour's twin sister, Faith, asked to place a loaf of bread and a tin of sardines inside the grave. She said her late sister had appeared to her in a dream complaining of hunger.
The family and officials granted her request amid tears and grief before the body was reburied following the completion of the autopsy.
"An autopsy has just been conducted on the deceased Miss Favour Agbro by the investigating team and competent pathologists with the presence of all parties, including the lawyer of Odogwu Asaba.
"Her twin sister had brought sardine and bread for late Favour, arguing that she appears to her, saying that she is hungry. She said she wanted to put the food in the grave as she would be laid to rest immediately after the autopsy analysis by the pathologist in the presence of all parties. It was graciously granted amid wailings, agony, sorrow and tears."
Joe thanked members of the public for their support and solidarity with the bereaved family, adding that efforts would continue until justice is served.
"We wish to thank everyone for their support towards the investigations and solidarity towards the family at this grievous time occasioned by Odogwu Asaba. We shall follow up until justice is manifestly seen to have been done," he said.
